RULES

This tournament is going to be split into 3 division brackets; Gold and below, Platinum-Diamond, and a Masters+ Bracket. All players must submit op.gg’s for the Organizer to put you into the bracket that fits your team's ranks. We will also be using your op.gg to determine if we believe an individual is smurfing in a lower skill bracket, any smurfs found will be removed. We want everyone to have a great time and play hard - Good luck!

Basic Rules for teams:
-1. The event we be a BO1 double elimination. This will apply to all brackets (Gold-, Plat-Diamond, and Masters+.)

-2. The closing date will be midnight the day of the tournament, so we can finalize the bracket and have that ready to go at exactly the time of the tournament.

-3. Each team is allotted 2 subs and their accounts must be accepted before play to be preapproved. If your team has a coach, they will only be available to help you draft. After the draft process the coach must leave your discord chat but may spectate the game via twitch or 3-minute delay watch in the LOL client. Any team caught breaking this rule will automatically receive a loss for that round. Teams may invite other teams they know of to participate as well, but the same rules will apply to them as it did you.

-4. There will be a winner’s bracket and a loser’s bracket. The winner of the loser’s bracket will play in the final match for 1st and 2nd place. The loser of the final game in the loser’s bracket will be the 3rd place team.

-5. This is a 2 day tournament. On Saturday, we will start the tournament and play until the Top 3 teams are determined (all matches paired up until the Winners Bracket Finals and the Lower bracket Finals.) The results will be posted in the tournament bracket and all teams that remain in the tournament must return on Sunday to determine the ranking for the Top 3.

-6. Final game. This will be a BO3 single elimination. The winner of this game will take the 1st place prize and the loser will take the 2nd place. Good job to both teams that make it to this position you have played hard and earned it!

-7. Players under 18 will be required to have your parent or guardian sign a consent form to claim prize winnings.

-8. GAME MAINTENANCE If the game's servers are interrupted, we may suspend and reschedule the event to a future date.

-9. CHEATING Cheating of any kind will result in disqualification without prizes from the event, and being banned from all future events. If you are in a match where you believe your opponent cheated, please send any evidence you may have to the tournament staff. In addition to Hacking, "CHEATING" ALSO INCLUDES USING ANY BUG OR UNINTENDED EXPLOIT THAT EXISTS IN THE GAME, intentionally or unintentionally - UNLESS Staff has made an announcement to everyone about an exception to this rule. If this somehow happens to you unintentionally, you should immediately alert your opponent and tournament staff - if you don't, you will be deemed to have been Cheating, and you will be disqualified without prizing and banned from all future events.

-10. SPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT: Sportsmanlike conduct is expected. You are NOT allowed to be disruptive or grief your opponent in Real Life, such as in any Discord or Twitch chat (or any other actions that could be considered unsportsmanlike conduct except for actions intended to be allowed within the game itself as part of normal game-play.) If you do, your actions may result in a game loss, match loss, or disqualification from the event without prizes, solely at the discretion of the Tournament Staff. Further TOXICITY will not be allowed at any time. Toxicity includes BM or any form of demeaning, name dragging, or trying to hurt the feelings of another player. During gameplay the use of emotes, masteries, or any BM in all chat will not be accepted and will be an automatic removal of your team. Atlas does not have room for this in our organization and will not tolerate it. If your team experiences this if you inform the admins or the owners and provide evidence that supports the claim whether it is a screenshot or some way we can prove it. If you are a free agent team and unfortunately one of the members you are paired with is toxic, you must use one of your alternates for the next game and that person shall not be allowed to play in any remaining matches for the event. If you happen to be in the tournament and see BM happening please pause the game and record or screenshot and message a Tournament Admin with a brief message and wait for the response and wait for further instructions.

-11. RECORDING OPTIONAL: We realize not every player can do this, so this is not mandatory: If you have the capability, live streaming and/or recording video of all of your matches is a good idea, to help eliminate any possibility of any dispute arising as to performance in a given match.

-12, STREAMING Select matches for this event may be streamed on one of our designated Official Twitch channels. Competitors playing in the event may live stream the event from their own POV as well (and are strongly encouraged to do so-if you do, please add "#GGtoor" to the title and don't forget a time delay so no one can stream snipe you!) By registering for this event, you agree that we may live re-broadcast your live stream from our designated Twitch channels and Shout-cast any game-play during the course of the event, as well as create VODs of this Content, which we may choose to make available on our official Youtube channels and other platforms, so others may marvel at your awesome plays (or epic fails!)

Pre-match:
-1. Teams will be present in their respective discord chats 10 min prior to the tournament starting. Can not add people the day of the tournament.

-2. Once all teams are in their respective discord channel, they will then look at the tournament bracket provided. Teams must be in LCS tournament order(Top, Jg, Mid, ADC, Supp). The two teams will use “https://draftlol.dawe.gg” for their means of drafting. The sides will also be decided based on your position in the bracket. If you are in the top bracket you are red side and if you are in the bottom bracket you are on the blue side.

-3. If someone on one of the teams selects the wrong champ or has the wrong runes, they must get into contact with the other captain to discuss a possible reset. If both captains agree then the two teams must keep what they originally picked and banned and only change the champion in question and must select those once again. If it happens a second time that team will have to take a loss and move into the loser’s bracket or play it out as is. If one of the team captains veto or they decline the request to have a redraft the first time, that team must play with that selected champ or forfeit that round.

-4. If you and someone else on the team are going to be switching roles! It must be announced in the pregame lobby before any picks/bans are made. If you wish to switch roles before drafting begins that is fine please let the other team know. If you fail to inform the other team and you just switch roles and it is brought to the attention of the admins. Your team will automatically take an FF for that round.

Late policy:
-1. This will be a very important rule. The lobby timer starts once BOTH TEAMS HAVE BEEN PAIRED IN BRACKET. Once this timer has started both teams have 15 minutes to join lobby. If both teams to fail to join in the time limit they both will be DQ'd

In Match:
-1. There will not be any use of emotes or champion masteries during the game this will be counted as BM and will be a loss for your team. All chat must only be used to relay information and not used to taunt opponents. This is to prevent anyone from getting upset and taking it out on the org. Some people find this silly, some are thankful. It is in place to protect the players.

-2. Forfeiting the game. This is acceptable during the game unless you are the game being streamed. If your game is the one being streamed unfortunately you must play the full match.

-3. Pausing of the game. If there is a disconnect or someone must use the restroom there will be a 10 minute allotment time for the two teams. After the 10-minute time the captain must report this to the Community Events Admin for verification, that team that has surpassed the time must either resume the match or FF.

-4. To ensure the games run smoothly as does the rest of the tournament if a game runs past 90 minutes there will be a double elimination. This is to prevent trolling by sitting in base doing nothing.

Post-Game:
-1. GG’s to both teams. After the game you may type in all chat GG or you may wish the team good luck in their next match.

-2. After the game is finished if you see the other team has already advanced the 10 minute lobby timer will commence. This is to ensure games continue flowing and there is no long pause between games.

Finally:
-1. If an admin states anything this rule will be final. This goes for arguing calls asking for verification or just needing an intervention. There will not be any toleration of arguing with the owner/admins.

-2. This also means that an admin will be available at all times throughout the tourney so if a question arises that is not in the rules feel free to ask and you should be answered within the minute. This goes also for just any general thought. If you are unsure or unaware please ask us. We are here for you in the sense to help the tournament run smoothly for everyone!

-3. Have Fun! This is the most important rule. We are all competing, but this is still a fun friendly environment. Good luck competitors may the best team win!
