It is required that you join the GGtoor discord for ongoing updates about the event: https://discord.gg/GUhyZxFH8Q This is a teams event, 5v5 matches using a single elimination bracket. •Round 1 through Semi-Finals: BEST OF 3 (BO3) •GRAND FINALS: BEST-OF-5 (BO5) Check-in for the event will open TWENTY FOUR(24) HOURS before the event starts, December 16th, 18:00 IST, and closes THIRTY (30) MINUTES before the event December 17th 17:30 IST (7:00 AM EST.) The event is limited to 64 teams. if more than 64 teams register and are approved, the first 64 to check in during the check-in period will be accepted. To check in during this period, the team captain must visit the #codm-checkin channel of the GGtoor discord and post the team's name, the player name, and tag/ping each player's discord ID. Once this is done, staff will check-in that team so they may be seeded into the bracket and be allowed to participate in the event. IF YOU DO NOT CHECK IN BY THE DEADLINE, FOLLOWING THE ABOVE PROCEDURE, YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE! It is VERY IMPORTANT that you double-check your time conversion to the local time for your time zone, so you do not miss this deadline and get dropped from the event! VERY IMPORTANT: Once checked in, you should visit the #codm-chat channel of the GGtoor discord, as well as the HP eSports discord regularly, before and during the course of the event, to make sure you do not miss any important instructions from the tournament staff! MEMBERS MAY NOT BE ADDED TO YOUR REGISTERED TEAM ROSTER AFTER PAIRINGS ARE ANNOUNCED. Each time you are paired against your next opponent, the team captain should reach out to the opponent's team captain via discord DM to arrange playing the match. The team captain listed on the top of the match bracket should share their lobby code with the other team captain. If you can't find your opponent or they are unresponsive, tag CODM staff (and the other team captain, if able) in a post using the #codm-cant-find-opp channel of the GGtoor discord. Teams that are unresponsive may be issued a match loss by staff. DISCONNECTS: If there is a disconnection during a match game, the disconnected player loses that game. The game should NOT be restarted (unless adjudicated differently by the Tournament Staff. ) Age: To be eligible to participate, a player must be at least 13 years old (or such other age, of greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence). Players between the ages of 13 and 17 must have written permission from a parent or legal guardian. Cheating of any kind will result in disqualification without prizes from the event, and being banned from all future events. If you believe your opponent cheated, please send any evidence you may have to the tournament staff. In addition to Hacking, "CHEATING" ALSO INCLUDES USING ANY BUG OR UNINTENDED EXPLOIT THAT EXISTS IN THE GAME, intentionally or unintentionally. If this somehow happens to you unintentionally, you should immediately alert your opponent and tournament staff - if you don't, you will be deemed to have been Cheating, and you may be disqualified without prizing and/or banned from all future events. Sportsmanlike conduct is expected. You are NOT allowed to be disruptive or grief your opponent in Real Life, such as in any Discord or Twitch chat (or any other actions that could be considered unsportsmanlike conduct except for actions intended to be allowed within the game itself as part of normal game-play.) If you do, your actions may result in a game loss, match loss, or disqualification from the event without prizes, solely at the discretion of the Tournament Staff. Select matches for this event may be streamed on a one of our designated Official Twitch channels. Competitors playing in the event may live stream the event from their own POV as well , with #GGtoor in the title. (If you do stream, add a stream delay to avoid being stream sniped!) By registering for this event, you agree that we may live re-broadcast your live stream from our designated Twitch channels and Shout-cast any game-play during the course of the event, as well as create VODs of this Content, which we may choose to make available on our official Youtube channels and other platforms, so others may marvel at your awesome plays (or epic fails!)
