RULES

Teams Info

Players on teams will be assigned as "Player A", "Player B", and "Player C".
The team leader of a team will be designated as "Player A". The remaining two players will be "Player B" and "Player C" in the order as displayed on smash.gg. The order will be displayed as: Team Leader, Player 2, Player 3. Thus the player assignment will be Player A, Player B, and Player C.
Player A of both teams will face each other, Player B of both teams will face each other, & Player C of both teams will face each other.

Decks

Submit your main deck + side deck on smash.gg. Each player on your team must submit their own decks on smash.gg.
Teams must use a shared cardpool for deck construction (side deck is shared cardpool as well!).
For cards that are unlimited in-game, a maximum of 3 copies of that card can be used across all 3 decks. It is acceptable to play two Limit 2 cards in one deck and two Limit 2 cards in another deck as long as they are different cards.
For cards which only one copy is available in-game, only 1 copy can be used across 3 decks (ex: Shadow Imprisoning Mirror).
ALL PLAYERS MUST USE DIFFERENT SKILLS.

Shared Cardpool is NOT Shared Banlist.
Time

Failure for the team to check-in by the deadline = DQ for the round.
Being 5 minutes late to a match after BOTH teams have checked in is a game loss (0-1) for the player that is late.
Being 10 minutes late to a match after BOTH teams have checked in is a match loss (0-2) for the player that is late.
Time limit rule will apply: you have 50 minutes to finish a best of 3 match. Failure to do so will make it so that the player with the highest life points at the end of the turn will win the duel.

Duels

Players will have a maximum of 5 minutes to side deck and start playing. Taking longer than 5 minutes will result in a game loss.
If you have any problems, then contact a moderator or talk to your opponent in chat. Take screenshots for verifying and explaining what happened. We cannot help if you do not communicate proof of your issue.
Spectating other duels in the tournament is forbidden.

Spectator Rules

Your duel room MUST have AT LEAST 7 spots, leaving room for AT LEAST 1 spectator. Not leaving room for a spectator will result in a penalty.
There cannot be a 7th person that is not a mod or the streamer in the duel room. If you have an unknown spectator, then both players will receive a penalty.

Disconnection Errors and Glitches

Always record a video or take a screenshot of your glitch or disconnect and call a moderator.
Glitches like a frozen game and floating cards may result in a game reset.
Lost Connection / Disconnect = Game Loss

Extras

Your SmashGG name and your Discord name MUST be close enough for us to find you on discord if needed.
If something is wrong with SmashGG, then you are expected to use the discord to communicate with the mods for help.
Being kicked or removed from the tournament for any reason is your responsibility. This includes:
Being late.
Not signing in for any reason.
Messaging any mod for any reason after the start time wondering why you're not signed up.
Not having the same SmashGG and Discord name so we kicked you because we didn't know who you were.

Maintenance

In the event the tournament does not conclude before in-game maintenance, then the event must be carried over to the next day, and you will be required to play at THE SAME TIME THE TOURNAMENT STARTED THE DAY BEFORE.

This is a 3v3 TEAM event, all rounds will be Best of 3 matches. The event will feature Swiss Rounds with a cut to a Top 32 Single Elimination bracket.

EACH PLAYER MUST SUBMIT THEIR OWN DECK THROUGH SMASH.GG.

Visit the GGtoor Discord for ongoing updates about the event: https://discord.gg/GUhyZxFH8Q VERY IMPORTANT: You should get the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links role to access the #ygo-teams-event-info and #ygo-teams-chat channels of this Discord at least 30 minutes before the event begins. Stay there for the duration of the event to make sure you do not miss any important instructions from the tournament staff!

ILLEGAL DECK: Starting the game with an illegal deck will result in a game loss for the offending player.

Each time you are paired against an opponent, you should use SmashGG chat to arrange a duel room. If you're having trouble with SmashGG chat, then use the #ygo-chat on the Discord to communicate with the mods.

TARDINESS: If your opponent appears to be non-responsive after 5 minutes of BOTH players checking in or while side decking, then call a moderator on SmashGG. If you're having SmashGG issues, then use the #ygo-chat on the Discord to ping a mod.

DISCONNECTS: If there is a disconnection during a match game, the disconnected player should rejoin the game as quickly as possible and keep playing the game. Otherwise, it is usually a game loss (unless in special circumstances adjudicated differently, at the sole discretion of the Tournament Staff. )

Age: To be eligible to participate, a player must be at least 13 years old (or such other age, if greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence). Players between the ages of 13 and 17 (or such other age, if greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence) must have written permission from a parent or legal guardian (a form will be provided which must be returned in order to complete processing your registration). IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, THE FORM CAN BE FOUND HERE: https://discord.com/channels/708790719015551017/761211030927441940/786226171864023050 , PLEASE CONTACT TOURNAMENT STAFF PRIOR TO THE EVENT TO HAVE THE REQUIRED PAPERWORK COMPLETED OR YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.

IF THERE ARE GENERAL CONNECTION PROBLEMS/INTERRUPTIONS WITH THE GAME'S SERVERS, THE EVENT MAY BE SUSPENDED AND RESCHEDULED TO COMPLETE ON A FUTURE DATE.

Cheating of any kind will result in disqualification without prizes from the event, and being banned from all future events. If you are in a match where you believe your opponent cheated, please send any evidence you may have to the tournament staff. This includes suspicion of invalid side decking. If this somehow happens to you unintentionally, you should immediately alert your opponent and tournament staff - if you don't, you will be deemed to have been Cheating, and you will be disqualified without prizing and banned from all future events.

OPTIONAL: We realize not every player can do this, so this is not mandatory: If you have the capability, live streaming and/or recording video of all of your matches is a good idea, to help eliminate any possibility of any dispute arising as to the results of the match.

Sportsmanlike conduct is expected. You are NOT allowed to be disruptive or harass your opponent on SmashGG, Discord, Twitch chat, etc (or any other actions that could be considered unsportsmanlike conduct except for actions intended to be allowed within the game itself as part of normal game-play.) If you do, then your actions may result in a game loss, match loss, or disqualification from the event without prizes, solely at the discretion of the Tournament Staff.

Select matches for this event may be streamed on Twitch. Competitors playing in the event may live stream the event from their own POV as well (and are strongly encouraged to do so! Please add #GGtoor to your tournament stream title.) By registering for this event, you agree that we may live re-broadcast your live stream from our designated Twitch channels and cast any game-play during the course of the event, as well as create VODs of this content. Any content we make may be made available on our official Youtube channels and other platforms, so others may marvel at your awesome plays (or epic fails!)

ALL DECISIONS BY THE TOURNAMENT ADMINISTRATOR OF THIS EVENT ARE FINAL.
